Off site data storage

As a web developer, it’s important for me to invest in data backup. I used to just use an external hard drive to mirror my work on my primary drive. It seemed like the cheaper and better solution. That was until I had a small house fire. All the data I had was lost, and I had extremely upset clients. I still haven’t fully recovered from that accident.

Since then, I’ve started using an online data backup system. Using a data backup service at a different storage site will prevent anything from being lost if I ever have a fire again. My customers now feel more secure that I will never lose their data again. Off site data storage really is the way to go for any important information.
